Thanks--I watched the bourdain episode again and went for bare bones:onions, garlic, tomatoes, octopus(goes without saying),chorizo, mushrooms and a lot of pepper(red and black),some cumin and red wine.
Outrageous! The stock was so rich and delicious. Thanks

I had a totally different experience @ Buddakan when I went there. From that, we can conclude that even the fanciest restaurants can mess it all around.

Take a look and comment my review on: http://hungrygoat.wordpress.com/2009/08/19/hungrygoats-new-york-guide-buddakan-rules/

Best regards.

Shaina! I'm so jealous. If I wasn't vegan, and therefore incapable of eating pretty much any of this, I would most certainly make a reservation IMMEDIATELY.

AHH i love your life.

I so enjoyed your article on puddings. My Mom made the best homemade puddings and custards ever. Your story took me back on a pleasant journey down memory lane. Anything that reminds you of home and childhood makes for a wonderful day.

its actually something my family has been eating at Passover every year, and it's addicting to say the least. It's made with matzo farfel, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pineapple and peach cottage cheese. It's almost like a baked pudding and really comforting
